Talesinger

Preaching to the Choir
The Talesinger has two functions, one is to provide a rousing good tale
for the the Garou, the second is to lead the packs through their own tales.
In the first case, this is a chance for the Galliard to have his moment
in the spotlight - use it wisely. In the latter case, the Talesinger
is guiding the the packs and ensuring that all the tales are told with
the necessary energy and brevity. Some words of advice for the Talesinger:
-
Let the Master of the Howl know who you are, so he can call you.
-
Speak loudly and distinctly so that everyone can hear you.
-
Make the tale short and sweet, roughly five minutes or so.
-
In general, the packs should be picked by order of rank, but it's possible
to make a point by picking a lower-ranked pack first. In the Buried
Heart, either the O'Mearas or the MacKinnons are going to be offended by
the ordering no matter what you do.
Stories and Songs
The Master of the Howl steps forth and says, "Let the Time of Tales begin!
[Calls name of the Talesinger], will you tell us a tale?"
The Talesinger will tell a tale, then call forth each pack.
Each pack tells its tales. The Talesinger should keep an eye on
the time to ensure that each pack is telling tales for roughly five minutes
or less.
After each pack finishes, the Talesinger should ask the elder Galliard
whether the tales are worthy of Renown or not, the elder Galliard will
then reply.
After the last pack finishes, the Master of the Howl will end the Stories
and Songs and the Talesinger will return to his place.
