Great Aunt Lena's Sponge Bread
- 1 pkg Fleishmanıs dry yeast
- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 cup Instant Milk
- 1 Tbs sugar
- 1 Tbs oil
- 1 tsp spoon salt
- 1 whole egg
- 1 cup water

Special Instructions:
Works fine in my Welbilt bread machine. Add ingredients in
order given. My machine calls for no more than 1.5 tsp.
yeast, so that's how much I put in.
Comments:
This bread recalls fond memories from my Aunt and Uncle's
Farm in Arlington Washington. The recipe is dated October
1958. She called the recipe Icelander's Delight...
