Q: Where is Rokenworld, and where can I find the most recent FAQ?
A: You can find Rokenworld at: http://www.limey.net/~fiji/rokenworld/
    The Rokenworld FAQ: http://www.limey.net/~fiji/rokenworld/rokenfaq.txt
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q: What is Rokenworld?
A: Rokenworld is a fan created web site for the promotion and enjoyment
of the Rokenbok toy system (http://www.rokenbok.com/) "an expandable
building system with radio control vehicles". Rokenworld contains
information about the toys, neat construction ideas, rules for games
of skill, and a whole bunch of links to other resources.

Q: Is there a Rokenworld mailing list?
A: Yes, you can add yourself to the mailing list by sending email to:
owner-roken-list@limey.net. This is also the address to send removal
or change of address requests. An archive of the list is maintained via
hypermail 1.0.2, and can be found at:
         http://www.limey.net/~fiji/rokenworld/mail/
The list is intended for the discussion of all things Rokenbok, including
new ideas for games, competitions, and constructions, hacks, and other
    nifty stuff.

Q: What is LDraw, and where can I get it?
A: LDraw is a file format and set of programs of varying quality that
allow you to model LEGO parts and then assemble them into models.
There are tools that let you convert the model files to POV-Ray files
and the results look really sharp.
LDraw and LEdit were the first utilities, but they are DOS programs.
The file format and parts were used by the related utils. LDLite is a
good Windows viewer, LeoCAD is a sort of compatible model constructor
(it is pretty nice), LDAO has an editor in it that is okay but allows
you to drive LDLite with different viewpoints without giving it explicit
    command line flags (recommended).
Rokenworld is in the process of making a set of LDraw parts for the
basic Rokenbok parts (plates & beams to start with) and a tool to make
defining the parts less of a pain. We will then make models of the
arenas and render them and all of the parts.
Currently, there are the basic beams, the solid side beams, and the red
connectors modelled in all of the possible lengths. The parts are not
quite finished but they are about 90% of the way. They must be made
the right size, and all of the side polygons must be defined canonically.
If you are interested in helping with this project, let us know and we
send you what I have and eventually put it up on the Rokenworld site.
