It worked fine. There were some problems when the ball was in the corner.
Sometimes it also got out of the court. So we can to face off again. I
could shoot with the kick motion from the loader, but aiming was hard or
just by luck. For the goal, it was put in the middle of the short sides,
using 2 short beams and a long beam. So it looks just like a real goal.

How did it work? During the Superbowl when Sumo made its debut I made
some goalposts but we played on the ground rather than in an arena, so
getting the ball through the goal was tricky since we could push the
goal. We also had 4 people so it got a little crazy, so we decided to
go back to Sumo.

Was it easy to score? Could you 'shoot' the balls or did you
basically have to push it up to the goal?

We also had mixed vehicles, the sweeper obviously has too much of an
advantage and can not play, but the gripper is capable of grabbing the
ball and lifting it, making it unfair too. If you absolutely must use
the gripper you can remove one or both arms (they snap on and off, but
be _gentle_) to stop it from lifing the ball.

Any other ideas for sports? Or for using balls in competition? I
have an idea for a long distance race (a la Roborally (the board
game)) where the balls are waypoints and if you have one then you go
back to that color when you die. But this requires making deadly
obstacles (or dangerous areas) and I have not done that yet. Also a
competition to get as many balls as possible both by taking them from
the field and stealing them from the opponents (and their quarry).
But again I have not got around to that either.
